Dr Arun Rajendran
Dr. Arun Rajendran is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with over a decade of experience in the treatment and management of gastroenterological issues, including Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), reflux, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). He sees private patients at the The London Clinic and BMI Clementine Churchill Hospital.
After graduating in 2001 and completing his postgraduate specialist gastroenterology training in North West London, Arun spent 3 years in St Marks Hospital for his postgraduate research and teaching fellowship. He was awarded a research MD from Kings College London (2020) following the submission of his thesis examining the learning curve of colonoscopic polypectomy.
He continues to write peer review articles for international journals and present in national and international meetings on a range of topics including cancer screening, training and inflammatory bowel disease. He regularly contributes nationally and internationally as multidisciplinary working group member for improving quality of endoscopy training.
He is skilled in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including the assessment of Barrett’s, Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), polyps and cancers. He is well versed in English, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.
He employs a patient centred approach and strives to provide a high quality, safe, efficient individualised care to all his patients.
